Graphs look good. Shows most of California including the Sierra will have normal to slightly above normal temps and above normal precipitation. Good news. Given the whole Northwest is above average, suspect that means systems coming in more from the latitude of southern Oregon and then sweeping down and in across California. In the colder winter scenario we tend to see less frequent storms when the jetstream moves systems from the western Pacific across into higher latitudes of the Gulf of Alaska and we have to be content with it occasionally kinking up against a cold high from Canada over the Northwest continental areas before gives us a chance shifting south.
