...Winter storm warning in effect from midnight tonight to
Midnight monday night for elevations above 6000 feet in
Yosemite national park...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter storm
Warning above 6000 feet for heavy snow and strong winds...Which
Is in effect from midnight tonight to midnight monday night for
Yosemite national park.

* snow accumulations: 4 to 8 inches.

* elevation: above 6000 feet.

* timing: the heaviest snow is expected between 5 am pdt and 5 pm
Pdt monday.

* locations include: tuolomne meadows...Tenaya lake...Tioga pass.

* winds: west 30 to 45 mph over exposed higher elevations with
Gusts to 80 mph along the sierra crest.

* impacts: winter driving conditions and possible road closures.



Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow are
Expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will
Make travel very hazardous or impossible.

Hazardous weather is not expected...Though scattered snow showers

Too bad Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne beat us to it. Maybe we can change it to Yosemite snow, Yosemite snow, Yosemite snow.
