CalTrans will close Hwy 140 at the Ferguson Slide in both directions from 11PM on October 30 to 5AM on October 31, 2012 and again from 11PM October 31, 2012 to 5AM on November 1, 2012. The closure is to facilitate repairs, some paving and a detailed safety inspection of both bridges. CalTrans workers will be working on the bridges during the closures. No vehicles, bicycles or pedestrians will be allowed on the bridges with the exception of marked emergency vehicles traveling between Yosemite and Mariposa.
