Curiously enough, the page for the bike stand (as in, place to rent bikes) links to another page that recommends places to ride bikes. The latter page advises at one point:

Park your bike just before Mirror Lake in the designated bike stand and walk the rest of the way in.

Rental bikes aren't allowed to ride all the way up the "hill" to Mirror Lake.

We always bring our own bikes and you can get up some speed going down that hill. It is best not to go down the hill quickly when it is crowded to avoid hitting someone.
