...Unsettled weather to return to the central california
Interior...

A series of pacific storms will move through the region over the
Next several days. The first system will quickly sweep through
The region tonight...Bringing light mountain snow and scattered
Light rain showers...Mainly north of kern county. Some showers
Will linger over yosemite national park into sunday morning.

There will be a break in the action sunday night into monday
Before another system moves in on monday. This will be a stronger
System and we are expecting moderate to heavy snow on monday
Afternoon into tuesday morning across the sierra north of kings
Canyon. Moderate snow is expected in the sierra from kings canyon
To the kern county line...With only light snow into the tehachapis.
Rainfall is expected over most of the central california interior in
The lower elevations monday night into tuesday.

Once again...There will be a break in the action on tuesday
Night through thursday afternoon. Another storm system is expected
To impact the area on thursday evening and continue into
Friday. A strong cold front will move through the area and bring
Rain and high elevation snow.

...Winter weather advisory in effect from 4 am monday to 4 am pst
Tuesday above 5000 feet...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter
Weather advisory above 5000 feet for snow...Which is in effect
From 4 am monday to 4 am pst tuesday for the southern sierra
Nevada from yosemite to kings canyon. The winter storm watch is no
Longer in effect for the southern sierra nevada from yosemite to
Kings canyon.

* snow accumulations: 7 to 11 inches.

* snow level: initially at or above 6000 feet monday lowering to
4500 to 5000 feet monday night.

* locations include: shaver lake...Huntington lake

* winds: southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 55 mph over
The sierra crest with blowing and drifting snow.

* impacts: snow covered roads...Treacherous driving conditions.
Possible road closures.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow will cause
Travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
Visibilities...And use caution while driving.
