The Mist Trail from the Vernal Falls Foot Bridge to the top of Vernal Falls is closed for the winter due to snow and icy conditions. Visitors may still use the John Muir Trail from the Foot Bridge to Clark's Point and then use the upper section of the Mist trail to get to the top of Nevada Falls.
