Sorry guys.. but it's been a LONG time since i have posted a pic, and have forgotten how (i don't want to post a link, but a photo itself).
any help would be appreciated

That would help me too. I had wanted to post a picture of the fire lookout and had no idea of how to do it.

I wanted to set up a quick and simple photo site for my mom for an Xmas present, looked around at the most current options, took a couple out for a spin.

Decided to go with Dropbox and I'm really liking it.

I've been meaning to test if you can hotlink their photos to this site. Yep, looks like it works, snap.

I'll put it through another quick text - I created a folder on my local drive, dragged in 20 shots, now they are uploading, automatic.

Logged into Dropbox, grabbed the quicklink to the album:

That's their player, pretty simple but it works. Scales for cellphones and all that. Plus it took me zero seconds to set it up.

Let's see - this QD shot is kinda nice. Right click, Copy Image Location, paste.



Boom, hotlinked.

[If someone comes across this thread down the road and the link/photo doesn't work, that's just because I deleted it. This has only been a test.]
