Hetch Hetchy Road Opening

The Hetch Hetchy Road is scheduled to open Friday, April 5th. Construction project work will continue adjacent to O'Shaughnessy Dam, which will result in the parking area next to the dam to be closed Friday and Saturday, and potentially into the beginning of the week of April 8. Limited parking will be available at the backpacker's parking area. Pedestrians will have access to and across the dam

Would you have any idea what snow is like up in that area? I'm looking to do a 2-3 trip starting April 9th and thought the Laurel Lake -> Lake Vernon and back looks good.

Thanks for the update Eeek. I was just at Wapama Falls (came in from Cherry Lake) and there was no snow to worry about at that level. All the creeks were flowing pretty hard.
