The Mist Trail from the John Muir Trail junction (just above the Vernal Fall footbridge) to the top of Nevada Fall will be closed from 6 am to approximately noon or later today, Tuesday, May 7, due to a search. (The trail opening at noon is tentative and could change.) The John Muir Trail is open from Happy Isles to the top of Nevada Fall (and beyond).
