Interesting - the snake actually works better than most of the landscapes in terms of realism - it looks very life-like to me.

I find the landscapes all look a bit like models; that may be due to the amount of offset between the two images. Though slightly lacking in realism, that may not be a bad thing in terms of enabling us to get a good sense of the "lay of the land". I am finding the landscape images really give me a good feel of how I might navigate across country, watersheds, etc.

Of course, this may just all be down to my wonky eyes.

The snake works very well for me as well. Many of the landscape ones do, too, but this one - the ridge on the right is working, but my eyes can't pick out the 3D of Peninsula Lake itself - actually hurts a little when I try to see the 3D there. Maybe the clouds on that side are part of the issue, they're not popping out for me either.

Sorry. It's kinda irritating in that the photo on my computer is so much clearer than after I upload.
Bear in mind that Pen was taken in 2010 so I simply got lucky that was able to make anything at all.
So you gotta cut me some slack.

How about this one... with all the HD crap (again) (I knew better) (sigh) (geez) (fo criminy)

You should see a good dentist, err, rostrumist for that.

Yeah, that one works quite well (both foreground and background 3D show up quite well).

Nice photos.

The one of the snake really pops out in 3D.

But sad to see that the Twinkies was already missing from the Young Lake photo. sad smiley

Cool finagaling. Is that from on Dog Dome? This talk of Lembert Dome makes me wonder if you have one from Pothole Dome(with Lembert in it)

Yeah. That's from Dog Dome.

A better 3D of Lembert may be from the trail itself that runs thru the meadow.
Dunno how good Pothole will be. Almost always up there in the morning light...
I'll see what can do...

But we need Calavaras to try. His stuff way better than my feeble attempts.
I have a lot of fun with it though.
I do so many of these I really forget what I've done.

I'll let u figure this one:

Looking thru the large number of these things done ... turns out I had already done
one of Broderick/HD and also one of Grizzly Peak/Sierra Pt.

Here's the Broderick one... the more I stare at it... the more I like it. Enjoy

Great picture. Do you think anyone has explored up the canyon to Lost Lake? It looks to be more than just a scramble. Just curious!

Lots

Look here:

There used to be a trail right thru there. Although come to think of it I can't really recall ever seeing an old map with it on it.

Others who frequent here have done it. Maybe they will chime in.

Gotta run. Have a good wkend. smiling smiley

Two excellent ones! Always love how the trees pop out so life like like the ones on the bottom photo.

Does anyone remember way back in the 1970's, there were at times some magazines that put pseudo-3D images on their front covers using some sort of textured plastic material that made the photo somewhat 3D looking?

Wonder if one can print these anaglyphs in such the same way today.

I did try to get 3D of Lembert... but still playing with those...

Coyote Rocks. That should have been an easy one. Always great views near Fairview.
