It's always nice in Tuolumne Meadows.

Lower Cathedral Lake outlet was flowing pretty good. It already looked like quite a bit less water a few days later.

Lower Cathedral Lake

Dolly Domes at last. Headed down Echo Creek to Dolly Domes. Didn't have too much time to explore there. Hey chick-on: heading down Echo Creek worked pretty well, but always wondered if you can get to Cleavage Cascade by going x-country south east from Sunrise HSC, or is the granite too steep.

Up on Watkins until heavy rain and nearby thunder storms chased me off.

It was really nice in the Granite Bowl

There are great views on Puppy Dome with little effort.

Lots to see from Polly Dome also.

I tell you what have done... and you can go from there... certainly there are other routes..
With minimal flow you can hike right up the cleavage...
In your video ... you can see the gully there on the eastern dome... you can hike down
that... no problem... or up it...
The eastern dome is class 3 to get to the top... the western dome is class 5+
Bug Dome that overlooks the HSC and meadow... simple class 2

Cascade is already waaaay down...

You may enjoy this.. took it last weekend:

I'm sure it's exciting.. but here you go:

You head way left (west)... then ziggy across over here and back up ... not too bad...
Yikes... that was in 2004 with Younger Old Dood... Sunrise TH to camp on Quarter Domes... then back up
and around via High Trail to Dolly Domes... Sunrise HSC (I x-d up Cleavage and up Bug Dome while OD
knocked off a bit of trail I had already done) ... and out... 3 days... camped below the Dolly's 2nd night.
Good times

There's just soooo much to explore... whoever says they have done it all... is kidding themselves...
