First thanks to the folks here who because of what I have learned got me into backpacking vs my previous day trips. I tried my first ever timelapses while hiking and because it was a supermoon it was very bright but think the stars were still beautiful. Here are two timelapses from our campsite. I will post pics from the hike later this week but it was beautiful looking down from the heavens it felt like.

Cool.

I see what you mean about the supermoon (or full moon in general) I noticed a fair bit of light in the sky throughout and saw a shadow move across the tree near the end of the second clip.
