On Saturday, September 7th, a visitor reported that a vehicle was broken into at the Indian Head parking area. The visitor provided rangers with a detailed description of a suspect vehicle observed in the area. Rangers immediately responded to the town of Three Rivers, Ca., along with a Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, and were able to locate and stop the suspect vehicle. The vehicle’s occupants, Thomas Moore and Keely Patrick were arrested. A search of the vehicle uncovered a significant amount of stolen property, including approximately 35 different identification cards, multiple credit cards in various names, several purses, and wallets. Additionally, Moore had several active felony and misdemeanor warrants for similar crimes. Charges are pending through the National Park Service and through Tulare County. The case is still under investigation.
