Starting Sunday Night September 8, 2013 at 8:00 PM, crews will begin a project to clean and repair the Wawona Tunnel. The project work includes cleaning the tunnel, repairing sections of the wall, floor and ceiling where the concrete has deteriorated and is spalling off, sealing the various cracks and joints, as well as improving the drainage system at each end of the tunnel and within the tunnel. There are no delays scheduled on weekends between Friday at 4:30 PM and Sunday at 8:00 PM. The project completion date is scheduled for December 13, 2013. Crews will be working with controlled traffic and pilot car operations, so please be cautious and patient as you are traveling thru the work zone. You should expect the following delays as you are traveling along the Wawona Road :

- 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM = 15 Minute Delays
September 30th thru December 13th
- Sunday Night at 8:00 PM to Friday Afternoon at 4:30 PM
- 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM = 30 Minute Delays
- 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM = 2-Hour Delays
- 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM = 15 Minute Delays
