Tioga Road may open Friday

The recent winter weather that blew through the Sierra Mountains over the last two days laid about 5 inches of snow on the Tioga Pass road. Today, road crews are working with CalTrans to clear the road of snow and ice and will reassess tomorrow morning for a possible opening on Friday. Stay tuned…

Hopefully they can do it. The surrounding communities are hurting from the Park being closed and they could use what little business an open Tioga Road brings.
