A winter storm warning above 8000 feet remains in effect from
4 pm this afternoon to 4 am pst monday for the southern sierra
Nevada from yosemite to kings canyon.

* snow accumulations: 2 to 3 feet possible above 8000 feet
Between this evening and late sunday night.

* timing: snow beginning this afternoon and becoming moderate
To heavy above 8000 feet by late this evening. Snow
Continuing through sunday night.

* locations include: tuolumne meadows...Kaiser pass.

* winds: southwest winds will gust as high as 80 mph over the
Sierra crest over the weekend.

* impacts: snow and blowing snow will create hazardous
