How were the snow conditions getting there? Looks like you had some, how deep and where did it start?

Thanks guys. Snow was patchy from Tioga Road on up. It was pretty cold so I didn't sink much. I'd guess maybe 4ft in shady spots higher up. It looks like there's a little more coverage at higher altitudes than there was a month ago, some of the recent little storms may have helped. A little more snow than recent years, I think, once you get above 9.000ft. Should be set up soon as nice Sierra cement. I'll put up some more pictures, they might help.

Nice shots! Forgive the obvious question, but did you camp on the peak? Or hike back in the dark?

Fortunately I got to watch the show safe and warm in my tent, somewhere around 10k ft.
