Tioga Road can close for the winter anytime after October 15th.

Keep your eye on the 10 day forcast. If snow is predicted then count on 120 being closed at least for a day or two if the snow is light. The closure for the winter will come when there is a series of snow storms that prevent a quick plowing. The winter of 2011/2012 120 didn't close until Jan 17, 2012. Typically it closes in November.
