Including the cities of...Shaver lake...Yosemite valley

...A winter weather advisory is in effect from 7 pm sunday to 4
Am pst tuesday...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter
Weather advisory for snow...Which is in effect from 7 pm sunday
To 4 am pst tuesday from yosemite national park to kings canyon.

* timing...The heaviest snow is expected between 10 pm sunday and
10 pm monday.

* snow levels will start out around 6000 feet sunday evening and
Lower to near 4000 feet by late monday afternoon.

* snow accumulations...4 to 8 inches with local amounts of up to
12 inches above 7000 feet.

* impacts...Snow covered roads and slick travel conditions.
Highways that will be impacted include highway 41 near fish camp
Leading into yosemite national park...Highway 120 and highway
168 from shaver lake to huntington lake.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
Will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
Covered roads and limited visibilities...And use caution while
Driving.
