To 4 pm pst tuesday above 7000 feet...

* accumulations...Around 12 inches to two feet in yosemite
National park...Elsewhere around 8 to 12 inches.

* timing...Late monday morning through tuesday afternoon. Most
Of the snow will occur during monday afternoon through early
Tuesday morning in yosemite...And monday evening into tuesday
Morning elsewhere.

* impacts...Travel in the higher elevations will be difficult due
To poor visibility and snow covered roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter storm warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
Conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
Snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
An emergency. If you must travel...Keep an extra flashlight...
Food...And water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* heavy rain may cause areas of flooding and debris
