...Winter storm warning in effect from 4 am thursday to 4 am pst
Friday...

The national weather service in hanford has issued a winter storm
Warning for snow...Which is in effect from 4 am thursday to 4 am
Pst friday.

* accumulations...Snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches...With some
Areas getting up to 14 inches in favorable upslope areas.

* timing...Early thursday morning through early friday morning.
The snow will spread south into the yosemite park area by
Daybreak thursday and increase in intensity through the
Afternoon. The heaviest snow is expected thursday afternoon and
Evening then gradually tapering off by early friday morning.

* impacts...Travel in and out of yosemite national park will be
Difficult due to snow and ice covered roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A winter storm warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
Conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
Are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
Emergency. If you must travel...Keep an extra flashlight...
