The southern sierra nevada.

No hazardous weather expected.

* timing: snow returning on wednesday to the high sierra.

* snow accumulations: 12 to 24 inches. Highest amounts in
Yosemite national park.

* elevation: starting out around 8000 feet wednesday then
Lowering to 5000 feet.

* locations include: yosemite national park...Sierra national
Forest...Kings canyon national park.

* impacts: rapidly changing weather conditions for hikers and
Backpackers. Snow causing possible road closures and dangerous
