Petroglyph in the Valley?

While exploring off trail in the valley, I came across this small spiral. It looked like it was carved, but I've never seen any granite carved petroglyphs.

It is hard to tell even when I enlarge the picture. I could be wrong but it looks natural to me. Maybe if I actually saw it in person I could tell better.

Sort of looks like a petroglyph of a chicken head to me! tongue sticking out smiley

Looks like a case of flow folding that has decayed away to give the carved look.
