WASHINGTON — The National Park Service has lost an early round of legal maneuvering over Yosemite National Park's trademarked names, as a multi-front fight narrows to the court venue preferred by the aggrieved former concessionaire.

I don't know how much this really affects the case. If the USPTO board came to a conclusion, either side was likely to just argue that the decision was wrong in court. This seems to really just cut to the chase and allow all this to be argued in court.

Regardless, if Delaware North wins, the phrase "pyrrhic victory" would seem to apply.
