WASHINGTON — The first family will visit Yosemite National Park next week as part of President Obama’s effort to burnish his legacy of protecting public lands. “I want to make sure that the whole world is able to pass on to future generations the God-given beauty of this planet," Obama said in a White House video released Thursday with the announcement. The video shows the president, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia on past visits to national parks.
