I have been trying to figure out where the cam is. I wonder if someone is working on it at their house.

"Located on a dome near the Wawona Tunnel..." Turtle Back Dome is the only one I know of in that area. I don't remember a house being up there though.

That cam is on top of Turtle Back dome. Each time I go to Yosemite I mention that we should walk to the top of the dome and wave at the camera. You can see all of the equipment on top of the dome from the 41 in several places if you look carefully and I have never seen anything that looks like a house but at first glance at the picture it looks like you are looking through a window with multiple panes. I was originally thinking that someone had taken the camera home to work on it but then the more I thought about it, that would not make any sense because why would it still be on the El Cap feed. I just looked at the picture more closely and maybe what we are seeing are some antennas or equipment because the cam is pointed the wrong way and not a window. The picture is not clear enough to determine what it is showing.

You may show up now if you wave at it... as it must be off kilter...
But in normal circumstances... for both "Turtleback" and "El Cap"
you need to be like 50 ft. tall to get in the frame...

I've seen the cam at the Majestic Meadow. Haven't been there in awhile, so memory a bit hazy. The cam is on top of the front door to one of the houses? I've tried sneaking in some silly creatures at Sentinel, but I think my attempts failed.

I challenge you to get your mug on either Turtleback or El Cap cam! hehe.

Yes it is on one of the houses. I once got on the cam in Ahwanee meadow by looking at the cam on my cell phone so I knew I was in the correct spot. BTW, the meadow's name didn't get changed because of the evil DNC name grab, only the hotel is called the Majestic. The houses on the meadow are still known as Ahwahnee Row.

Looks like the camera is back on now. Slightly different angle than before if i remember right.

I found that gate to Turtleback open one time and drove up there. I saw a work truck up there but quickly got nervous I would get locked in and did not linger.
