Q1: Any idea on the opening Bridalveil Creek Campground for 2017? Obviously it's hard to predict, but based on your experience, do you think it's a good option for July camping this year?

According to the NPS Yosemite website, Bridalveil Creek Campground is currently scheduled to be open from August 1st through September 18th.
Other first-come/first-served campgrounds in Yosemite are scheduled to open sometime in late July or early August.
