Yosemite Hospitality anticipates opening Degnan’s Kitchen and Degnan’s Loft later this month following an extensive renovation and updated menu offerings. Degnan’s Kitchen (lower level) will offer authentic delicatessen sandwiches, signature salads, artisan pizzas, breakfast favorites, coffee/espresso drinks, fresh donuts and other baked goods will be available. Degnan’s Loft (upper level) will be the perfect place to enjoy artisan pizzas, specialty appetizers and desserts. A wide variety of wines and beers on tap will be available at the new bar. The updated design and menus honor the tradition of the Degnan family bakery in Yosemite that dates back to the 1890s.

To honor the tradition of the Degnan family bakery, Yosemite Hospitality (Aramark) ought to start baking fresh bread again at Degnan's.

For those who are interested, here's a link to the history of the Degnan Bakery in Yosemite:

"Degnan’s Deli in Yosemite Village is scheduled to be the first big remodel next winter. The old sandwich shop, company officials said, will become a modern bakery with fresh breads and pizzas".

Why did you make link point to a different location than the text of the link?

Actual Link: https://goo.gl/v42RwN

Link Shown: https://www.nps.gov/yose/learn/historyculture/degnans.htm

Having the link be different than the link text is deceptive and one of the hallmarks of a phishing or security attack. Particularly with a URL shortener where you have no idea where the actual link might go, even if the URL shortener itself is a 'trusted' source.

I don't use Google URL shortener for any sort phishing or a security attack. The linked destination is the same: https://www.nps.gov/yose/learn/historyculture/degnans.htm

I used it here (as I sometimes do) only for the analytics (to gauge how interested others are in the link). It lets me know if people are interested in the link or not. That way I can save time by NOT posting links to subject matter that didn't generate a lot of interest in the past. That's all.

The analytics and the original URL of any Google Shortener URL is public and can be accessed by adding a "+" to the of the Google link: https://goo.gl/v42RwN+

Thanks for the tip. I didn't know about the analytics being available. That could be handy for me elsewhere.

But please don't hesitate to post links based on any past lack of activity. They can still be very helpful to some of us. This place is a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to you and others for your contributions.
