Bedding requirements in an RV in Yosemite in July
June 22, 2017 03:20PM
Hi all, my family and I are spending 5 days in Yosemite mid-july and I'm wondering if we'd need duvets / comforters or whether sheets would be ENOUGH? I know guideline temps at night are around the 52-55° mark so was thinking we would need more than just a sheet but does the RV get very warm (first-timers 😁). Any advice appreciated TIA

Unless you plan on a heater inside the RV, I would take at least blankets. When we sleep in our cabin near Yosemite, we still use a blanket during the summer. 50 ain't exactly warm.

Thanks very much @Balzeccom - we have to buy when we arrive in the US so will put that on the list 😁

It might be just as easy, cheap, and perhaps warmer to buy some inexpensive sleeping bags at a sporting goods discount store.

In either case, since you won't be taking them back with you, you can donate them to a local homeless shelter, where they will be greatly appreciated!
