The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District has issued
an Air Quality Alert starting on July 17, 2017, due to smoke
impacts from the surrounding wildfires for San Joaquin,
Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and the Valley
Portion of Kern Counties.

The Mariposa Air Pollution District and Tuolumne County Air
Pollution District have also issued an Air Quality Alert for
Mariposa and southern Tuolumne Counties.

This Air Quality Alert is in effect until Thursday, July 20,

bronchitis, and increase risk of respiratory infections.

Residents are advised to use caution as conditions warrant.
People with heart or lung diseases should follow their doctors
advice for dealing with episodes of unhealthy air quality.

Additionally, older adults and children should avoid prolonged
exposure, strenuous activities or heavy exertion, as conditions
dictate.

Was up Yosemite Falls to Yos Point yesterday, at times you could not even see Half Dome and could barely make out the outline of the south rim GP/Sentinel. <cough cough>.
