Seriously - to ALL of you who posted - thank you so much! I've enjoyed the forum very much and hope that we can all share our love and desire to protect the wilderness with others who spend a little time here.

Chick-on - you've been a great friend and fabulous backpacking companion! I am truly grateful and thankful for the time you share with me!

And my footy seems to be getting better, and I have had a few small local hikes, testing it out, and am going to give it a go in August... Will have to start small, but any time hiking in the mountains is wonderful, so... I'll take it!
