The photo is from about 12:30. The line was to the overlook.

When we left Yosemite on 7/30, the line to enter was over 3 miles long.

It was pretty bad Thursday when I was leaving the park about 11 am.

This summer it has been horrible when we have been there. Don't even try to go to the valley unless we are there by 8:30 am or after 5 pm. Recent LA Times article.

mark thornten sounds like the kind of guy, who, when he hasn't got his head buried in the sand, is hunting for reds under the bed. 'socialist buses?' how does that one work, then. how can people travel 'on their own schedule' WHILE THEY ARE STUCK IN A NON-MOVING LINE OF CARS??? unless, of course they WANT to be stuck in a non-moving line of traffic and are happy to pay $30 for the priveledge. talking of which...KERCHING! there'es gold in them thar hills.
