I mean, he like fixed his umbrellie. It was pretty cool. It broke once but that
was just the first try. It works now. He'll show it to you. He's pretty proud.

I pretend I'm not impressed. Gotta keep him thinking. Or something like that.

I'm not sure how after-the-fact I am but (presumably belated) birthday greetings to you, A! Thank you so much for all that you (and your insatiable cohorts) do in keeping us tuned in to parts of Yosemite (not to mention SEKI) that we mere mortals may never actually get to! Your TR's are always a delight and the obvious love between you and the Pink One (and JKW and pretty much everyone else who's been lucky enough to tag along for some of your adventures) just adds another level of "special" to the whole Sierra experience. Having passed your b-day milestone quite some time ago (to eeek's point, yes, I now have my Old Dood pass!), I can assure you that there is still plenty of hiking left on the other side of the half-century mark so happy trekking!

I remember this one like it was yesterday, or at least a few months ago!
