Park Staff have completed the May 1 snow surveys. The water content of the snowpack in the Tuolumne drainage is 149% of average; in the Merced drainage it is 160% of average.

According to weather.gov, snow showers are likely for the remainder of the week. Curious as to how much is expected to fall.

National Weather Service forecast currently predicts possible snow accumulation of less than half an inch on Thursday and Friday, and possible snow accumulation of less than an inch on Thursday night. Those forecasted amounts may change as the storm draws closer. Also note that possible does not necessarily mean likely!

Well, my search was for Tioga Pass. Slightly diff area and elevation. But it should only be tiny bits of snow here and there (inches, not feet).
