...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 11 PM PDT
TUESDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...
* WHAT...Snow expected above 5000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 3 to 6 inches expected. Isolated accumulations up to 8
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Elevations above 5000 feet in the central Sierra.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 11 PM PDT Tuesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
