The Hetch Hetchy Road will be closed to all visitors on Tuesday, June 18th from 0700-1000 to accommodate a wilderness maintenance project. Road access gates to Hetch Hechy will be closed at Camp Mather. The road will fully reopen to public use at 1000 that day for normal day use operations.
The Hetch Hetchy day use parking area will be closed to vehicles on Wednesday, June 19th from 0700-1000 to accommodate a wilderness maintenance project. Visitors will be able to park outside the day use area barricade gates and walk to O'Shaughnessy Dam for access to the trail system. The day use parking area will fully reopen to the public at 1000 that day for normal operations. Rangers will be available at the day use parking area to direct the public on this day.
