Temporary John Muir Trail Closure Monday

There will be a short temporary trail closure of the John Muir Trail (JMT) and Mist Trail around the Vernal Fall Bridge area on Monday, September 16 from approximately 0930 to 1000. The purpose of the closure is to remove a water tank with the Park helicopter. The Horse Trail from the Yosemite Valley water tank to the Horse Trail/ JMT foot trail junction is already closed due to contractor work.
