The Yosemite Conservancy Depot bookstore is now closed for the season as of December 15, 2019 and will reopen at the earliest March 15, 2020 or later depending on snow and road conditions. The road to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is closed for the season, there is no Shuttle Bus service this time of year. Visitors may choose to walk (snow shoe or XC ski) to the trees, using either the road or the Washburn trail. Icy conditions, fallen trees, etc., may exist on either, caution is advised.
