...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 4 PM PST SUNDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7
inches above 6000 feet and up to 1 to 3 inches as low as 4000
feet. Winds gusting near 50 mph.

* WHERE...Central and Southern Sierra Nevada including Yosemite
National Park to Kings Canyon.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Motorists should anticipate travel delays and slick,
hazardous road conditions, as well as the potential for road
closures above 5000 feet. Gusty winds could bring down tree
branches and can make travel difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you plan to travel, consider alternate strategies. If you must
travel, remember to carry tire chains, plenty of food, a good
deal of water, and warm clothing in your vehicle.
