...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM TUESDAY TO
4 PM PST WEDNESDAY ABOVE 7000 FEET...

* WHAT...Wet snow expected above 7,000 feet. Total snow
accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Winds will gust as high as 55
mph on exposed ridgetops and near the crest.

* WHERE...Sierra Nevada north of Lake Wishon.

* WHEN...From 4 PM PST Tuesday afternoon until 4 PM PST
Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Strong wind gusts
may cause tree damage.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TUESDAY TO 4 AM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* CHANGES...None.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected. Locally higher winds are possible near the mouths of
canyons.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Tuesday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and damage
power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles along Highway
395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Now is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio
furniture, holiday decorations, and trash cans before winds
increase which could blow these items away. The best thing to do
is prepare ahead of time by making sure you have extra food and
water on hand, flashlights with spare batteries and/or candles in
the event of a power outage.
