Tioga Road Administrative Access

Tioga Road is open for administrative access and travel. This means employees and contractors on official business only. Please close and lock the gate anytime you enter or exit the Tioga corridor. Also be aware that the road still has some patches of potential black ice and Maintenance crews may still be doing work on portions of the road, so drive carefully.

Any guesses as to when this road will be opened? I have plans for memorial day weekend to head into the valley and was hoping to take the 395 into the 120. As of now... Looks like I'll be using the Sonora pass.

With snow coming this week...feels like it's a slim chance.

The full length of the road will be open to bicycles May 21–23 . I was hoping for it to open for cars by 20th

Sorry man... The Sonora pass is almost as beautiful, but does take more time
