Free Yosemite Valley Shuttle Returns

The Yosemite Valley Shuttle has resumed service as of Friday, December 17th. Hours of operation are 7:00am – 8:00pm daily, with a stop frequency of every 20-30 minutes. The shuttle routes have been temporarily modified for the winter season: there will be six total stops split between a north loop and a south loop. The north loop will stop at The Ahwahnee, Yosemite Village, Lower Yosemite Fall, and Yosemite Valley Lodge. The south loop will connect Yosemite Village to Curry Village orchard parking. Updated shuttle maps for visitor use have been ordered and will be distributed as soon as possible.

Well, I guess that explains the mystery. LoL!

I went to Yosemite Dec 15-17. On the morning of the 17th I was driving into the village and couldn't understand why a handful of busses were parked at the maintenance building with engines running. I left mid day and didn't actually see them running. I wonder how long that will last.
