Re: Merced River Gauge Webcam - Just for fun

I was in the valley with my family this week, by Happy Isles, and I thought, I wonder if we can get into the Merced River gauge webcam. :-)

It took two trips and a bunch of effort, but we did it. My son and I are on one side, my husband on the other. My daughter had given up on our quest and was relaxing back at Curry village.

(If you want to try this, know that the WebCam has two positions, I don't know exactly how often it rotates, and that the webpage despite saying it updates ever minute updates every 15 minutes)

It takes some waiting, but we have done the same thing a few times. Same with the Ahwahnee Meadow cam. Hope you had a great trip.
