Peregrine falcon breeding season is here and the beloved falcons are busy re-establishing their territories throughout the park. Please help respect peregrine falcons nesting in Yosemite by complying with seasonal climbing closures. Starting Tuesday, March 1, closures go into effect at Arch Rock, B.O.L.T. Wall, El Capitan SW Face, Fairview Dome, Fifi Buttress, Hetch Hetchy, Higher Cathedral Spire, Mt. Broderick, Rhombus Wall, The Rostrum, Sentinel Rock, Washington Column, Wawona Dome, Widow's Tears Alcove, and Yosemite Point. If you want to climb at any of these areas, please check the closure notice first to make sure you are complying with the closures and not disturbing any nesting peregrines. The list of current closures can be found below and will be updated throughout the breeding season.
