The Badger Pass A-frame is open and staffed 7 days/week by Wilderness staff to answer questions and issue backcountry Wilderness permits. The last day to access the Glacier Point Road Nordic Route system will be this Sunday, April 3.
Snow conditions: All trails have significant bare ground and skiing to Dewey Point is no longer possible. Expect about 50% of all trails to be bare ground. Finding consistent snow out in the open is challenging, but when found is still really fun skiing! Glacier Point Road is no longer groomed, and much of the roadway is exposed. That being said, we continue to see ski tracks out there so we know some of you are still enjoying it! Composting toilets are open for use at Glacier Point, Summit Meadow, Bridalveil Creek #21, and Sentinel Dome parking. The Glacier Point cabin remains closed for the season.
