August 3: Repairs on Tuolumne River Bridge, pouring concrete. Condensing the material at Stable Road parking area. Cleaning and prepping the drainage rundowns and curb backing from Pothole Dome through climber turnout to areas. Pouring concrete in the meadow, curb closures, rundowns, and curb cuts. Paving from east of East Beach to Murphy’s Creek Picnic Area. Relocating the wood chip stock pile from the Visitor Center to Pothole Dome parking area (mornings only, until the parking lot gets congested).
The following parking area(s) may be used as paving truck turnarounds: Old Campground
Pilot cars are running from Soda Springs to climber turnouts and from East Beach to Sunrise Lakes Trailhead. Expect 20 minute delay at the pilot cars. No parking along Tioga Road within the pilot car area.
Soda Springs Road and Pothole Dome parking (both east and west) are closed. The following parking lots are open:
