Sunset in Lone Pine (Tuttle Creek campground) July 28
Three photos bracketed -2, 0, +2 RAW and Luminance HDR open source software
Used monopod so pic isn't as sharp as it might be but came out pretty well for first attempt at HDR
I was heading south on 395 that day and flash flood closed the highway in a muddy mess at Coso Jct. so wound up camping in LP instead, would've missed this otherwise, almost forgot all about HDR

Have you tried applying an unsharp mask to it?

While HDR certainly offers a number of tools for development, we also need to remember that in photography it is light and shadow that create the intimate viewing experience with each image. In this case the HDR looks a bit over done as there are signs of haloing and it really has a gritty look overall.

I do like the composition and arrangement of the elements of this shot, especially the rays extending outward
