And I'll probably annoint the trip around those highways that circumvent Stockton as the "cherry on top" ... (#4 ... #99 ... #5 ... is that correct? ... something like that ...) Those interchanges are a piece of work .... I take the #4...#99...#120 Post Edited (05-16-08 19:10)by Lisa - General Discussion
I would like to go up there once and not see a detour or any construction signs. Wishful thinking.by Lisa - General Discussion
Great! I plan on visiting next weekend 5/3/08. Perfect timing! Post Edited (04-28-08 16:46)by Lisa - General Discussion
Your pictures from last week are beautiful. I didn't have any plans to drive up but I'm going to reconsider.by Lisa - General Discussion
Beautiful pictures. I love the fall colors.by Lisa - General Discussion

Thanks. I need to get up there again, soon.by Lisa - General Discussion
Does anyone know when the road to Glacier Point will close? I was there on Saturday and would like to return before the road closes for the season.by Lisa - General Discussion
I took this 10/20/06 and you could see the fall colors. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q320/lb01/100_0606-2.jpg I'll be there Saturday and will take pictures.by Lisa - General Discussion
Good. I will be in Yosemite on Saturday anyway.by Lisa - General Discussion
Going through this tunnel gives me the creeps. I took this route earlier this year and there was a bus in front of me that made a complete stop in the middle of the tunnel. Apparently, there was a trunk in the opposite direction and the bus stopped until the truck passed. I don't know why and it had never occurred to me that two large vehicles, heading in opposite directions needed to be soby Lisa - General Discussion
I am going to put this on my calendar. If I can make it up there, I will.by Lisa - General Discussion
Oh my. He must have been in a very deep sleep. I hope his injuries aren't too severe.by Lisa - General Discussion
Good luck finding your camera but have you contacted the ranger's office to find out if there is a lost and found? Wouldn't hurt. There are still people out there who will try to return property they found to the owner.by Lisa - General Discussion

So Mist Trail is not too misty?by Lisa - General Discussion
Are the falls still flowing? Plan on going hiking Friday.by Lisa - General Discussion
I think this is the same view from 10/06. You're right, it looks very different.by Lisa - General Discussion
What a cute chipmunk. Nice picture.by Lisa - General Discussion
Even when I go by there during the fall & winter, it still looked bad. I don't understand the role that campground plays when it comes to preserving Yosemite. It is an eye sore.by Lisa - General Discussion
Mountain roads are very scenic, they are also very dangerous and this is a reminder. Don't know how many times I've been driving the roads and drove around a corner where someone was driving in my lane. I hope the victims recover quickly and hope their injuries aren't too severe. Too bad they're not closing and bulldozing the campground inside the park that looks like a refugee camp (near Housekeeping).by Lisa - General Discussion
Nice pics. I was there on the 17th as well.by Lisa - General Discussion
I have T-mobile and can only make 911 calls.by Lisa - General Discussion
Why not contact the Park Ranger at Yosemite? Maybe someone will call in and ask for their item, as well. From 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time (closed for lunch) at 209/372-0200; press 3 then 5. http://www.nps.gov/yose/contacts.htm Post Edited (08-19-07 13:38)by Lisa - General Discussion
I visited Yosemite on Friday. I'm really disappointed with is the constant construction they have there. One thing that can definitely use some work and I've never seen any construction there, are those campgrounds that look like refugee camps. They are a real eye sore. I won't be up there next Saturday, have fun. There are usually a lot of people across from El Cap watching the climbers.by Lisa - General Discussion

Aren't there too many people on the cable in your picture? Is that normal?by Lisa - General Discussion
