I'm thinking of bringing the family to camp at Upper Pines after Christmas. A few years ago we had reservations but now I see on Recreation.gov that the sites show "First Come". We have a small trailer so which site we get isn't too critical. Should I worry about the sites all being taken? Thanks, Jim Long Beachby jimqpublic - General Discussion

Thanks Rick. That was a mighty fast reply. Any alternate locations?by jimqpublic - General Discussion
eeek or anybody: I'm heading up to Yosemite and then Camp Mather (Strawberry Music Fest) next week. With the impressive snow depths on the Tioga road I wonder if we can drive partway up for some afternoon sledding with the kids? Or are the gates at Crane Flat locked? If so is there another place? We'll be camping in the valley then driving to Dimond O campground on the route to Hetch Hetchyby jimqpublic - General Discussion
