This is all very good advice and I will just reiterate that you should do what calls to you. If backpacking in the woods is what does it, then pick a route. If you could take or leave long walks with a pack on your back, then do not miss the top sights. I actually will be in the park the same time, arriving the 28th - but staying in the High country at Tuolumne Meadows. We used to visit YNPby streger - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. okay we seem to find ourselves in one of those pickles everybody is always posting about; the problem is this time I have loaned all my books and maps out and not had them back yet. We usually stay in Tuolumne Meadows; we have also done Hodgeden meadows and Wawona. Last summer I peeked at White Wolf and Yosemite Creek to check them out. Got a call today that they were cancelling my Crane Flat reservations. The campground was scheduled to open June 24th, but they are pushing it back a week. We were supposed to arrive on Sunday the 26th..... anyone know what non-reservation campgrounds will be open (BridalVeil Creek CG, White Wolf. Tamarack, etc.) and any sort of idea if we will be able to find a site? If not I am looking for aby streger - General Discussion
